This exhibition presents the sound identity from different districts of the city of Rostock as well as festive sounds, bells, weather and natural sounds of Rostock. It is accompanied by explanations on the method of the project and personal reflections of the individual members. The contents range from sound research to sound art and sound education. The quadrophone sound installation permits to make a virtual sound walk through Rostock. A handout can be taken away in order to permit a real sound walk through the centre of Rostock city.
